FromSoftware is well-known for one thing, regardless of whether or not it is completely accurate: its games are extremely difficult to play, whether or not they are completely accurate. It's true that simply stating that the games are difficult is a little misleading, because there are numerous arguments to be made that the games allow for a variety of ways to reduce their level of difficulty, which are discussed further below. With the use of all of the traditional methods that were present in the previous Souls games, it is possible to reduce difficulty in Elden Ring, with the added benefit of the game being set in an open world, where you are never forced to fight the same boss over and over until you defeat him before making any kind of progress. The other hand, in order to keep up with the game's difficulties, you must raise the level of your character.

This time around, runes serve as both currency and experience points in Elden Ring, and they are used to keep track of your progression. You earn them by slaying opponents (the tougher they are, the more you get), and then you spend them on upgrades to level up your character and improve his or her stats. It's basically the same as it was in previous games. Because each level requires a greater and greater number of runes, and because you only get one point to spend across all of your stats when you level up, every decision becomes even more critical as the time it takes to reach the next level grows ever longer. The fact that there are numerous locations in Elden Ring where you can grind runes hasn't stopped us from figuring out the quickest and most efficient way to rack up massive amounts of experience points if you're looking to bulk up your character in a short amount of time.

A method for grinding runes that is both efficient and effective is described here.
It doesn't matter how many runes you get from other guides pointing you in the direction of places where you can fight enemies quickly and near a Site of Grace that can earn you a significant amount of runes in Elden Ring; no matter how many runes those routes provide you with, there is still a certain amount of danger involved. You must be able to fight those enemies in a timely manner; if your level is too low, you may not even be able to do so, which defeats the purpose of the location as a great place to farm entirely.

The only requirements for our method, which involves no combat at all, are Torrent, your mount, and the ability to travel to a specific Site of Grace, all of which are readily available options. You'll find a map of the Dragonbarrow area at the top of the page, which includes the location in question, which is located in the upper east corner of the screen. Please keep in mind that this is a high-level zone, and ride directly to the Site of Grace if you don't want to get stomped by the random mobs that roam the area nearby.

You should proceed directly west after arriving at the Site, where you will find a slope that descends beneath a stone bridge. Begin descending the mountainside on your bike after climbing Mount Torrent. It will look like Indiana Jones's journey through the desert when a massive metal ball will appear behind you and begin rolling towards you in the distance. It is imperative that you turn sharply when the ball begins to pursue you, causing the ball to fall off the cliff's edge as quickly as possible. This is the goal you're aiming for. In the end, it turns out that this ball is an adversary, and it will reward you with a sum of runes that is just shy of the magical 2,000 mark, which is a small but significant victory. It will only take a few seconds to return to the Site of Grace, rest, and then repeat the process once you have completed your work at the Site of Grace. As soon as you get the hang of it, you can earn thousands of runes per minute, and there is virtually no risk to your bankroll as a result.

The downside of this method is that it becomes tedious after a while, and you would most likely not need that many runes to make a decent living.

The following are items that can be used for rune farming.

1. In order to make the most of your time spent farming runes, you can invest in a variety of tools, each of which will increase the number of runes you earn passively over time as a result of your efforts

2.  The Gold-Pickled Fowled Foot item is the first of these items to be introduced, and it is also the most common of them all

3.  As a consumable, it is not recommended for long-term use due to the resources required to manufacture it

4.  These items will temporarily increase the number of runes you earn, but only for a short period of time, so use them wisely

Aside from the Gold Scarab Talisman, the Gold Scarab Talisman is the most effective item you can use to increase the number of runes you acquire. The number of runes you acquire while it is equipped will increase by a whopping 20% while it is equipped. While this product does not have the same drawbacks as consumable chicken feet, its disadvantage is that it is significantly more difficult to obtain. Located in the Caelid region, which is a moderately high-level area where you can find other notable locations such as the Smoldering Wall Site of Grace, this item can be obtained by traveling there. It will take some time to travel to a minor Erdtree that isn't too far away, descend the cliff, and look for a cave hidden in the cliff face on the other side before you can enter the cave. This cave, or rather a pair of bosses, must be traversed in order to get to the bosses, who are located at the end of the cave. If you are successful in defeating these two knights, one of whom wields a spear and the other wielding a sickle, the Gold Scarab Talisman will be dropped on the ground by one of the two knights.

Additionally, if the above method is followed correctly, wearing this will result in an additional nearly 400 runes per run if the above method is followed correctly.
