Diablo 4 has a staggering amount of online content for players to enjoy, which has likely led many to wonder whether you’ll need a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription.

Fortunately, Blizzard has given an official answer on the topic, and it differs per player. Keep reading below to find out if you’ll need one of these subscription services to enjoy Diablo 4.

Does Diablo 4 Require PS+ or Xbox Live Gold?

No, you do not need PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold to play the majority of Diablo 4. You can experience the solo campaign, endgame content, and couch co-op mode without PS+ or Xbox Live.

However, you need PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold to Cheap Diablo 4 Gold engage with multiplayer content, including PVP, chats, and partying up with other players online.

This was confirmed back in April 2023 by Diablo 4’s Global Community Development Director, Adam Fletcher, on Twitter.

There he stated, “You can play without [PS+ & Xbox Live] but things like chat, partying and world PvP will require.”
